Ok, I've got a new job at least for a little while. I've taken a contract position but here's the rub. It's only a mile from home, so I barely get warmed up before I get to work.

You can ride home for lunch!
Being a mile from home isn't necessarily bad. My quick route is 2.9 miles which is good when I don't want to break a sweat coming into the office. On cooler mornings I can pick various other routes, some of which head away from the office to start out.
I'm sure you'll find something to do with the extra time you'll have available ;-).
